Jerry Carter also known as J. Carter Custom Builders and Remodelers - While he does excellent remodeling and light commercial work, the majority of Jerry’s work is build-to-suit custom homes. He’s on-site every day to ensure quality work and he’s always looking for ways to improve the homes he builds. Functional floor plans, energy efficiency and upgraded features are standards for J. Carter Homes, but Jerry doesn’t stop there. He’s innovative in his approach to construction. Not only does he provide a beautiful finished product, he works hard behind the scenes to make sure the legislature is aware of the needs of the consumer.  Jerry helped to pass the state’s first Energy Codes for new residential construction.  He has worked closely with numerous state commissions and committees to provide input for improved building standards and codes.
